Nice quote you chose, and good job with the photoshopping!
Yeah, nothing is more dangerous in the world than people who believe they are firmly in the right when they are actually wrong -- often when people do wrong, they do not see them from their own perspective as 'bad,' but rather as good when it's thought over with their own (twisted) logic. Only when we place ourselves in such people's shoes can we truly know how awful acts occur and re-occur throughout history -- and therefore, to a certain degree, how to stop it.
It doesn't have to be obviously 'evil' either -- a seemingly compassionate act on the surface can have dire consequences later if not now. A national government healthcare system seems so nice at first, for example, but as time goes on, the lack of competition stops innovation in medicine while raising the prices to monumental levels that taxpayers can no longer keep up with, and eventually bankrupt the country.
Anyway, that's my personal take of this -- Dr. King Jr. is full of such quotes. Thanks for sharing one of them!
America needs to learn and remember those who loved and died for peoples rights. "Like him here". Ignorant people like Lamar Smith's bills oppose Martin's dreams. We need to let the US know that.
Uhuh... I wasn't aware Dr. King had a position on copy-write infringement on the internet. You understand not everything has to revolve around the slacktivist crusade du jour?
